The students of grade I to IV celebrated Christmas with great joy on December 22nd in the school auditorium. The programme, hosted by the students of Grades 1A and 2E, began with a prayer service that set a reverent and festive tone for the celebration.

This was followed by a graceful welcome dance and a formal welcome extended by Daivik and Krithi to the Chief Guest, Madam Jennifer Fernandes, and the gathering. The children then presented a meaningful skit portraying the gifts of peace, hope and joy, interwoven with melodious Christmas carols sung in Kannada, Tulu, English, Hindi and Konkani, joyfully celebrating the birth of Jesus.

The Chief Guest, Madam Jennifer Fernandes, then distributed prizes to the winners of the competitions conducted on the occasion of Christmas. In her message, she spoke about the joyful spirit and warmth of the Christmas season, emphasizing that Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus, who taught us to love one another, forgive those who hurt us, and to care for everyone. Through the story of a young boy named Mark, she helped the students understand that the greatest gift in life is not what we receive, but what we become.

In her address, the Administrator Sr Carissima highlighted that a true home is built on kindness, sharing, forgiveness and love. She encouraged everyone to strive to create a loving, happy, peaceful, and joyful home this Christmas season.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Jiana and Jonathan. The celebration ended on a joyful note as the students delighted in the tune of Jingle Bells played on the flute by Satwik, to which a lively Santa dance added cheer and laughter, filling the auditorium with festive joy.
