Admission

  • Admission is open to all children irrespective of caste and creed subject to rules of the MCCS and the availability of seats in each class.
  • Prospectus and application form for admission can be collected from the office on payment of Rs.500/-.
  • Admission to Nursery, L.K.G. and Grade I commences in January itself. A child should complete 3 years 6 months by May 31st of that academic year while seeking admission for L.K.G. Parents should note that the date of birth entered in the school records will remain the same throughout the academic career of the student. During the admission to Grade I, the child should be 5 years 6 months as on 31st May of that academic year.
  • Grade XI: The school offers 2 combinations in SCIENCE for Grade XI and XII – PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology with one language English) and PCMC (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science with one language English)
    A candidate who has completed the All India Secondary School Examination conducted by the CBSE, New Delhi or its equivalent like ICSE, SSLC is eligible for admission, provided he/she has a consistently good academic record. The admission is based on the performance in Class X.

The School offers Science stream at Class XI and XII level. The subjects available are

Science stream : Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology / Computer Scienced

Languages : The School offers English as 1st language and Hindi as 2nd language. Every student is expected to study Kannada as third language up to Class VIII and pass the Kannada exam of Class VIII conducted by the School in order to be eligible to appear for the Class X examination.

However, a student who joins MCCS on transfer at Class VII or VIII will be permitted to continue the third language he/she studied in the previous school as “private study” in place of Kannada, subject to CBSE rules and availability of staff for the setting of question papers and evaluation. Pass in that third language is a condition that has to be fulfilled in order to appear for class X examination.

Classes IX and X have only two languages to study – English and Hindi
Classes XI and XII have only one language to study – English Core

Class XI Marks Statement of the Class X/SSLC or equivalent to Class X of any board along with Migration Certificate
For all Classes A copy of recent passport size photograph, affixed on the application

Please Note:

  • Applications without enclosures mentioned above will be rejected.
  • Transfer Certificate in original – countersigned by the Education authorities concerned, and originals of the above documents have to be submitted on the day of admission, in respect of all classes.
  • Students belonging to SC/ST should submit a photocopy of the Caste Certificate at the time of admission.
  • Overseas students need to counter sign their transfer certificate by the embassy of India
