Personality Development Programme

The Catholic Association of South Kanara (CASK) sponsored ‘Personality Development Programme’ was launched at Mount Carmel School, Mary Hill, Mangalore on July 20, 2013. Ms Giselle Mehta – Author, Entrepreneur and Ex-Indian Revenue Service Bureaucrat was the Chief Guest. She spoke about the importance of Personality Skills as an important tool for success in life.

Dr Derek Lobo, President-CASK welcomed the gathering and Capt John Prasad Menezes, Secretary-CASK gave the Vote of Thanks. The programme is on going with Mrs Patsy Lobo as the Coordinator on behalf of CASK, along with 3 other Facilitators.

A total of 127 students from class 7 & class-8 are benefitting from the programme. The topics covered so far include (1) Role of Values; (2) Discovering Me and Myself (Self Awareness);   (3) How to tackle ‘Peer Pressure’;   (4) How to cope with ‘Examination Stress’ The topics to be covered (5) Leadership;   (6) Effective Communication; (7) Building Self Confidence and Self Esteem; (8)Evaluation;

Participation Certificate will be given to the students at the end of the session. The Personality Development Programme in Schools is one of the CASK Centenary Projects and is being sponsored by Mr. Anthony D’Silva Prabhu of New York, USA.
