Lively Children’s Day 2022

We celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November, 2022 in the school auditorium, commemorating the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was known to have been fond of children.

The event began with a prayer session invoking God’s blessings on all the children around the world and specially of the school. This was followed by a creative welcome dance by the teachers. The significance of the day was presented by teacher Vandana highlighting children’s rights, education and welfare. Administrator Sr Carissima greeted the students and blessed them.

Further, the energetic staff put up a cultural feast filled with dance, drama and music to enthral and entertain the students, which the students enjoyed to the full.

Principal Sr Melissa, in her address, greeted the students and wished them a Happy Children’s Day. She appreciated the students for bringing joy into the lives of a teacher and also motivated them to aim towards their goals.

The program ended with words of appreciation and gratitude from the Head Boy Ronan Lobo. The floor was then open for celebration dance by the students.

Teachers Celia and Helen compeered the program thematically dressed as Chota Bheem and Kalia visiting our School from Dholakpur, adding radiance to the celebration.
