Kindergarten Champs of our School celebrated Nature Festivals and Girl Child Day

The students of LKG and UKG of our School paid a fitting tribute to Mother Mary on her birthday and the bounty of nature through their varied and creative art on September 7, 2023.

The programme commenced thanking the almighty for nature’s blessings and praying for the wisdom to take care of it. The chief guest of the day Ms. Lynette Fernandes, the Proprietrix of Mangalore Furnishing Centre was given a rhythmic welcome by the children of UKG A. The cultural programme showcased the varied culture of Monthi Fest, Onam and Ashtami and had in it an aura of festivity. It also sent out a strong message of family bonding and our contribution towards nature and culture. The worth and contribution of a girl child was presented in all its wonder through a dance drama.

The chief guest in her message appreciated and acknowledged the creativity and variety of the students and the teachers. She also highlighted the three virtues of mother Mary – obedience, humility, selflessness and the need to practice them in one’s life.

Students Zoe, Nicole, Amaan, Vainantheya and Eyana emceed the programme, while Akshaj and Shrinika accorded a welcome and Daiwik, Aaron, Shaivi and Roxane with sentiments of gratefulness and togetherness delivered the vote of thanks. The celebration came to an end with kindergarten children relishing the payasam served to them as part of the culture of nature festivals.
