Mount Carmel Central School partners with:
Green Bank Primary School,
Greenbank Road, Rochdale,
OL12OHZ, UK.
Both the schools shall undertake two joint curriculum projects:
1. Festivals and related Dances of UK and India
2. Taking Care of the Environment - Conserving water and plant life
The staff and the students of both schools will work on these projects for about 5 years which include mutual visits of staff, members and exchange of ideas, photos, videos related to the projects.
Mount Carmel Central School
Mount Carmel Central School building was formally inaugurated on 18th of February 2010 by Sr.Liceria A.C, Assistant Superior General of the Apostolic Carmel Congregation. The newly inaugurated building was blessed by the Bishop of Mangalore,Rt.Rev Dr. Aloysius Paul D'Souza. Provinical Superior Sr.Olivia A.C, Corporator Mrs.Bharathi Dinesh were the guests of honour on the occasion. Educational Secretary Sr.Carissima A.C was present on the occasion. A colourful cultural program from the students followed the inauguration.
